Звероводческие хозяйства
Разводимые в хозяйствах хорьки (статье под номером 9), которых часто называют помесными, являются потомками хорьков, полученных от скрещивания черных (лесных) хорьков (Putorius putorius) и фуро.
При организации работы во всех питомниках исходили из того, что гон у соболей, как это утверждали охотники и многие натуралисты, происходит весной. Неудачи же с разведением объясняли в первую очередь тем, что соболь обитатель глухой тайги и при отсутствии условий, соответствующих природным, он размножаться не может.
В индивидуальных хозяйствах применяют клетки различных размеров и конструкций. Но пока еще нет точно определенного типа, который можно было бы считать наиболее оптимальным.
При разведении нутрий применяют одно, двух и трехъярусное расположение клеточных блоков. В зависимости от ширины помещения блоки могут быть установлены в 1,2 ряда и более. При одноярусном расположении блок клеток состоит из 4 выгулов, размером 62,4X90X45 см каждый, 2 кормушек и поилок. Выгулы разделены между собой Vобразными перегородками, внутрь которых устанавливают двусторонние кормушки.
При раздаче корма на потолок выгула его легко могут достать птицы. Во избежание этого или пространство от конца крыши до потолка выгула затягивают сеткой, или делают специальный каркас с натянутыми под углом двумя полосами сетки, которым закрывают корм после его раздачи.
